Zoro belongs to the Clan of D.?

 The reason I am confident Zoro is a Shimotsuki is earlier in Wano, Oda had Kawamatsu say Shimotsuki were known for their toughness. As we know Zoro is tough and always endured severe hardship and moved on to the next mission/obstacle. For ex, Mihawk cut him diagonally across the chest, holding back just enough to allow Zoro to live, Kuma subjugated Zoro into experiencing the pain Luffy endured throughout his fight against Moria. In Onigashima, he not only withstood the brunt of a combined attack from Kaido and Big Mom, an attack that encompassed a majority of Onigashima but did so long enough to allow his fellow Worst Generation members fighting to escape from the attack, despite sustaining serious injuries as a result.

Oda also had some plot lines set up for the ending of Wano (which IMO should include with Worldwide events and Zoro’s past). He mentioned starting with Zoro’s interest in visiting Ryuma’s grave to pay respects. Also:

  • Shimotsuki Ushimaru has the silhouette of Zoro.
  • Shimotsuki Ryuma has the silhouette and parallel of Zoro.
  • Shimotsuki Yasuie is who Zoro rolled around within Wano.
  • Ringo is where Ryuma’s grave is.
  • Ringo is where Ushimaru and Gyukimaru ruled as Daimyo and partners.
  • Tenguyama Hitetsu is holding Nidai Kitetsu for someone. Oda/Luffy teased Zoro with Nidai Kitetsu.

We know how much Oda respects and treats Zoro’s character:

  1. Fight Hawkins
  2. Fight Killer
  3. Fight Denjiro
  4. Receive Enma
  5. Meet Hiyori, daughter of Oden
  6. Fight Apoo
  7. Fight at Rooftop with Supernovas
  8. Unlock Conqueror’s Haki
  9. Scar Kaido
  10. Endure Hakai
  11. Cut Fire
  12. Fight King
  13. etc ongoing
Like I’ve said earlier…

Zoro will be revealed as a Will of D. Clan Member by the end of Wano. Yasuie was not a Pleasurer and therefore unaffected by SMILEs. Guess how he died? Yasuie was a Shimotsuki. Shimotsuki means Frost Moon or Month of Frost. Zoro was born in the month of November or the month of the Frost Moon.

The Kozuki Clan has important ties to the moon as well. Apologies for my ignorance, but the ending Tsuki means moon. The samurai of Wano awaited the Kozuki Clan. They adorned themselves with a Crescent moon on their Ankles.

We know that the Will of D. Members dies with a smile. We know the lives of Will of D members are checkered. For example, Law, Luffy, and Blackbeard’s former past were tough. Law and Luffy were raised without parents for the majority of their lives and sought Piracy as a way to search for freedom.

Momonosuke exhibits traits just as they have. Since he was thrust into calamity after calamity even partaking as a General in a Massive War for his country. I am under the assumption the Shimotsuki and Kozuki are Will of D. Clans. Oden died with a smile, Yasu died with a smile, and Momonosuke has had a checkered life.The fight with Ryuma, defeat, and receiving Shusui was a passing of the torch of some kind. The time Zoro spent with Shimotsuki Yasuie and the bond they formed was for Zoro to spend some time with his “extended” family. Then, Oda, had it taken all away with Yasu’s execution giving Zoro personal reasons to fight Kaido or anyone that gets in his path in freeing Wano.

Oda wouldn’t create these important plot lines on a whim.

And some more reasons I made earlier this year…..

“In certain places, the Clan of D. have been called by another name, God’s Archenemy.”

Sengoku said members of the Will of D. live under a checkered fate.
Will of D ~ Dawn bringers and turn the world upside down.

Zoro

  • Whiskey Peaks, 100 bounty hunters defeated by one man under the Crescent Moon;
  • Zoro’s kimono in Wano rising sun;
  • Zoro not believing in God;
  • Asura is a manifested Devil/Demon like Power;
  • Zoro wants his name to reach the Heavens;
  • Ryuma’s name is echoed throughout all of Wano and was enough to make Akainu hesitant about entering Wano
    • Other marines and World Government didn’t enter Wano for centuries until now;
    • Ryuma essentially protected Wano from the World Government while he lived, enough to spread fear that would reverberate centuries even after his death.
“Those who bear the “D.” in their name seem to be able to withstand an incredible degree of punishment in battle and only surrender to death when they know it is truly unavoidable.”
Zoro fits this narrative to the T.

Another thing is the smile.

  • Ace died with a smile
  • Roger died with a smile.
  • Yasu died with a smile.
  • Saul died with a smile.
  • Luffy about to die from Buggy smiled
  • Zoro about to die from Arlong smiled

Mindblowing connection between Sanji and King, descendant of the Lunarians!

Judge the “Garuda”, that’s his epithet. The “Garuda” is a Buddhist and Hindu demigod with a form of an anthropomorphic eagle with huge wings able to even cover the sun, king of the bird race; It’s known to have fire-related powers, people even considered it the god of the fire and the sun. If you pay attention to Chapter 839, when all the Vinsomes are having dinner in the big hall you can see on the back wall behind Judge’s throne a huge symbol of a phoenix representing this same demigod “The Garuda”. Just with this, I can see in some ways an allegory to King’s race.

Vinsmoke” is just a last name, but not the race. Yeah, you could say that they’re probably human causes’ as far as we’ve seen Judge has never showcased any natural fire ability while fighting, he does not have any wings to complement that assumption, but to be fair we don’t know enough about what being a “Lunarian” really means. Maybe only some of the said races are able to awaken their dormant firepower while the others can’t, even If they get to train their whole lives.

Judge could have been a “Failure” in that regard from the “Lunarians‘ point of view. That would explain even further the mistreatment that he gave to Sanji because It reminded him of his younger self.

Now think about Germa‘s history, the bits and pieces that we’ve got to learn in “Whole Cake Island”: Germa was once a kingdom that ruled over the whole “North Blue”, but this Sea was not rightfully theirs so to speak, but in actuality, they took it by force, every king residing in the “North blue” submitted to the “Vinsmokes” out of pure fear.

The Lunarians were almost eradicated from the world probably by the “World Government”, and the few ones that survived got scattered throughout the world, besides King, the “Vinsmoke” family could have also been another survivor. “Germa” the kingdom with no land to rule, the “Vinsmokes” were kicked out or ran out of their homeland on top of the “Red Line“, so then they decided to take revenge on the World Government by conquering a huge part of the territory under a said organization which is the “North Blue”, and from that point forward both became like sworn enemies for centuries just like how the stories tell.

Both King and Judge have a similarity that caught my eye, they both cover their faces in some way or another, as matter of fact Oda put an absurd amount of effort into not showing Judge’s forehead and eyebrows for some reason, even when his helmet got broken by Big Mom during their scrabble Oda decided on shading his upper face, perhaps is something that would reveal his true identity? The same could be said about his non-existent wings? Maybe he amputated them? During the wedding just when he was about to confront Big Mom, after betraying him he says to her: “In the wake of a dream of just 66 days our ancestors were left as wandering ghosts unable to set foot on their homeland!!! And now I have disgraced their memory!!! To think that I entrusted you with the soul of three centuries of longing… I despise myself!!!

The second interesting part about this paraphrase is that he mentions that for 300 years the “Vinsmokes” desired to go back to their homeland. What if this is not about the “North Blue” since we know that they conquered it some time ago meaning that was not theirs, to begin with, and in reality, their homeland is on the “Red line“, hence to why Germa built the technology to be able to climb the “Red Wall”.

All of this goes to why Sanji has these fire powers while not his brothers and sister. Sanji was not modified so he could get Judge’s natural genes.

I think Judge didn’t react to Sanji’s flames during their fight in “Whole Cake” because he was expecting it to some degree since he knew that the genetic modification did not work on him. I wrote at the start of this theory that Judge probably did not have the talent to be able to awake his fire powers and he was considered a failure when he was young, but Sanji was able to do it and that hurt his pride, which made him stubborn to not admit his only natural-born son’s strength. Maybe that’s why once he got to see that Sanji was tapping into his dormant Lunarian powers a the last moment, when he recovered his consciousness after getting knocked out by Big Mom and when Sanji’s siblings came to rescue him and Luffy, between that time he probably modified the “Stealth Black” raidsuit to adjust it to his Lunarian genes. At the end of the day Judge is considered a genius, so It wouldn’t be weird in my eyes that in some hours he could do a last-minute change on the raidsuit.

I think Judge started to respect Sanji to some degree once he saved him during the wedding and stood up against him inside Capone’s castle, and that’s why he decided to help him with a “heritage gift”, the raidsuit. I really do believe that Judge is a really interesting character with a lot of potentials.

TOP 5 Longest Fights In One Piece

 5 – Gecko Moria vs Kaido – 3 DAYS

The Gecko Pirates clashed with the Beasts Pirates in the Ringo region of Wano, during which Moria stole Ryuma’s corpse along with Shusui from his grave.
Though the exact details of the battle are unknown, Moria lost his entire crew and was left warped and shattered from the experience, holding a grudge against Kaido to this day.

4 – Portgas D. Ace vs Jinbe – 5 DAYS

Ace and Jinbe were once enemies, as Ace wanted to kill Whitebeard, whom Jinbe regarded as a hero for protecting Fishman Island. The two dueled for five days until they both collapsed from exhaustion.

3 – Jack vs Mink Tribe – 5 DAYS

The battle against the Mink Tribe lasted for five days, with Inuarashi and Nekomamushi’s forces taking turns fighting with each passing day and night. Even though the minks had the upper hand against Jack’s continuous forces, they were unable to overwhelm Jack himself. On the fifth day of the battle, Jack finally lost his patience and used Koro to claim victory by poisoning the minks. With the Mink Tribe rendered helpless, Jack tortured the strongest of them for information concerning Raizo, taking a leg from Inuarashi and an arm from Nekomamushi. The following day, Jack heard about Doflamingo’s defeat and capture and promptly left Zou to rescue him, leaving behind some of his subordinates.

2 – Akainu vs Kuzan – 10 DAYS

Akainu was nominated for the position of fleet admiral after Sengoku had retired. Kuzan, however, was against the idea of having him become the new fleet admiral and the two admirals battled each other for the position on Punk Hazard.
The battle lasted for ten days, and their respective powers caused Punk Hazard to permanently be frozen on one half and burning on the other.
In the end, Akainu ended up as the victor of that battle, although both men were seriously wounded.

1 – Dorry vs Brogy – 100 YEARS

Dorry the Blue Ogre and Brogy the Red Ogre were once two of the most feared pirates in the world as no one could bring them down. One day on a hunting trip, each had slayed a massive sea king. Then, while they were celebrating their great catch, a little girl asked them both which sea king was bigger. They could not agree on which one was bigger, so, as per the rules of Elbaf, they started to duel on Little Garden.
One hundred years passed and their sea kings corpses turned to bones. They continued the battle every time the volcano on the island exploded, the duel always ending in a draw.

King’s Race stood in opposition to the Celestial Dragons?

Oda based King’s design on the titular Angel of Retribution from Judas Priest’s 2005 album.

Note the wings, the horns, the spiked pauldrons and, most notably, the corona of light behind the angel’s head. It mirrors King to a T. You can’t debate this.

This isn’t Shinto, Buddhist or Hindu imagery Oda’s drawing from – it’s the Western conception of a fallen angel.

So, what’s the deal with King’s black-feathered wings?

Well, let’s first dive into everyone’s favorite piece of eschatology: the Book of Revelation AKA the Apocalypse of John.

From Revelation 9:11
“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”This figure of Apollyon is doubtless a reference to Apollo, a Greek solar deity.

From Wikipedia:
According to the lexicon, the Hebrew : אבדון‎ ’ăḇaddōn is an form of the and verb stem אָבַד ’ăḇāḏ “perish”, transitive “destroy”, which occurs 184 times in the Hebrew Bible. The , an early Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, renders “Abaddon” as “ἀπώλεια”, while the Greek Apollýon is the of apóllymi, “to destroy”.
As for Apollo’s name:
Several instances of are attested from ancient authors. Thus, the Greeks most often associated Apollo’s name with the Greek verb ἀπόλλυμι (apollymi), “to destroy”.And if you think the etymological similarity is just a coincidence, there’s actually an important clue two verses earlier in Revelation 9:9
“And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.”So this angel/king of the bottomless pit has minions whose wings sound like chariots? Funny, since the chariot is perhaps Apollo’s most enduring symbol.

But what else is associated with Apollo? Specifically, what animal? You guessed it.

The raven.

Oda has a basic enough understanding of Greco-Roman myth to be familiar with Apollo. He already knows Apollo’s fellow Olympian Zeus, as well as the Titan Prometheus. You also have the Ancient Weapons Pluton (Hades), Poseidon and Uranus. In fact, One Piece Green: Secret Pieces reveals that Kumadori’s name was originally meant to be “Apollo.”

The most logical conclusion is that his race stood in opposition to the Celestial Dragons. They lived on the Red Line, and were cast out of heaven by the gods. Personally, I subscribe to the theory that the Red Line is an artificial construct. If the World Government used Pluton or some other means to reshape the layout of the continent, they might have found King’s race to be an inconvenience and decided to genocide them.

As a reversal of the Skypieans, Shandians and Birkans descending from the moon, I wonder if King’s race did not, in fact, come from under the earth’s crust? The idea of a subterranean hellscape matches the fallen angel theme. With the Red Line being restructured or forced to the surface, their abode was disturbed and they had no choice but to fight the World Government. This makes me think that King will side with whomever opposes the World Government in the final war. What do you think?

As for the name of King’s race, I think that’s the least important part. They don’t need to be called “demons” in the same way that Skypieans don’t need to be called “angels.”

Is Marco near invincible with his Devil Fruit?

I thought this was common knowledge, but the more I discuss Marco these days the more I see how half the people have no clue how his power works.

So let’s break it down.

1) Marco’s regeneration has a limit.

This was confirmed by Oda in a SBS.

Question: Hello for the first time, Oda-sensei. I’ve read all the previous 57 volumes, and I was thinking, I don’t quite understand how “Phoenix Marco”‘s Zoan fruit of the “legendary beast” kind is different from Ace’s “Meramera” fruit. P.N. CNY

Oda: Yeah, I know… I’ve omitted the explanation from this war arc, because I focused on the pacing and wanted to move the story forward. To explain Marco’s ability just a little bit: he’s Zoan, so he does have a body. But since he’s got “the blue fire of revival” – the Phoenix’s ability – wounds will regenerate, so attacks will not damage him (though there’s a limit to the regeneration). In other words, the flames are for regeneration. These blue flames don’t have the characteristics of actual fire – they don’t spread and burn things, and they aren’t hot. They’re completely different from Ace’s flames. I might touch on this in the main story at some point, so I’ll leave it at this for now.The limit can also be shown by the fact that after MF during WB’s funeral Marco was wearing bandages, implying he had at least some injuries he could not heal with his powers because they had run out at that point.

2) Forget limbs, as long as his regeneration is available Marco can survive mortal wounds.

Example #1 – Kizaru turns him into a slice of swiss cheese, and blew off a part of his brain.

Example #2 – A fodder puts a sword through his skull.

Example #3 – Queen almost detaches his head from the rest of his body.

 This is why Marco can basically stall anyone, including Admirals and Yonko. There isn’t much more that you can do when mortally wounding a guy doesn’t work. There are only two ways to deal with him:

– Remove his regeneration with seastone (like in Marineford) or with some hax powers (for example turning him into a toy with Sugar’s power)
– Keep wounding him so he needs to regen until he reaches his limit and can finally be killed (pretty much the standard strategy)

3) Is it really impossible to kill him while he has his regen?

Okay, there might be away. In DBZ, the way to kill Majin Bu is to simply wipe him out completely. Wipeout every atom of his body so that there is nothing that can start the regeneration process.

This might work, or maybe not because maybe Marco would regenerate even out of thin air, who knows. But the point is moot because there is no one who has shown the attack power to do anything close to that. Maybe a magma bath from Akainu could do that, but I doubt that it would be quick enough to kill Marco before his regen kicks in if Marco has freedom of movement.

So at the end of the day, as long as his regeneration is available Marco is basically immortal.

What Do You Think?
